We offer peer-led support, recovery resources, and connection for individuals navigating mental health challenges or substance use recovery. Our goal is to provide a welcoming space where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered.

Who can visit the center?

Anyone seeking support, connection, or recovery resources is welcome. Whether you’re just beginning your journey, continuing long-term recovery, or simply looking for community, INSPIRE is open to all.

Do I need an appointment to come in?

No appointment is needed. You can stop by during our open hours to access support, attend groups, or use available resources. If you’d like to meet one-on-one with a Recovery Coach or Peer Support Specialist, learn more here.

What types of support do you offer?

INSPIRE provides peer-led groups, one-on-one recovery coaching and navigation support, community events, and access to basic needs resources. All support is grounded in respect, trust, and empowerment.

Do you have a computer lab?

Yes. Our community computer lab offers free access to computers and internet for job searches, online learning, research, and personal use to people who use INSPIRE services. Staff are available to help if needed.

What is the Warming Center (and Cooling Center)?

During the winter months, INSPIRE operates a seasonal Warming Center where community members can stay warm, rest, and connect. During periods of extreme heat, the space also functions as a Cooling Center to help people stay safe and comfortable.

Are your services free?

Yes. All groups, peer support, events, and navigation are offered at no cost.

What is peer support?

Peer support is grounded in shared experience. Our Recovery Coaches and Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialists use their own lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery to provide hope, understanding, and support.

Do you offer crisis services?

INSPIRE is not a crisis center. If you or someone you know is in immediate distress, please call 988 or dial 911 in an emergency.

Yes. Loved ones are welcome to learn about our services, attend events, or seek support. We value the vital role that community and family play in healing.

What kinds of community events do you offer?

We host a variety of events that promote connection, creativity, and well-being, such as art groups, workshops, social gatherings, and seasonal activities. Offerings change throughout the year, so check our Facebook page for updates.

What if I’m not sure where to start?

That’s completely okay. Many people aren’t sure at first. Our staff and peers will meet you where you are, listen, and help guide you toward the resources or supports that feel most helpful to you.
